It's an amazing pain to target minions (and npc allies in some cases) as needed. It's surely if rangers can get their little dude in a party window necros can get bars for theirs too?

What if a Necro had TONS of minions? Now that is a big bar to manage isnt it?

However, if anything could be done, anything that can be done for easier targeting of minions and any other allies would be nice.
Because targeting minions is trickier than it should be. imo

the bar doesn't have to be like the party one - anyone remember the 3x4 selection window in warcraft 2? just add a little window that has nxm icons representing minions, with small health bars beneath each icon. I don't know how easy it would be to use it for NPCs (drag from their name onscreen into this ally window perhaps?) but for minions it's so necessary... far too hard to select the little buggers when you need to...

I do agree targetting minions can be hard. However the idea of having a bar for each of my my pretties would be too much. Sometimes I'll have 20 of the critters. A targetting system with a filter would be useful. Hotkeys could then be assigned to certain filter settings, allowing you to select minions only or allies only etc etc.
